How to Keep Filter Press After Filtration Finished
1. When the filter press equipment stops running, we firstly need to promise that there is no any particle or liquid left in the equipment. If any left inside filter chambers, and filter press doesn’t work, the particle sedimentation will form a hard solid because of air-drying, which will not only block important parts of the filtration equipment, but also cause the filter press not work normally when it is restarted next time. In severe cases, it will cause the high-pressure disc quick-opening filter press to burst. Therefore, filter press must be fully cleaned to prevent slurry from drying out or undergoing chemical changes inside the filter press.
2. Once the filter cloth of the high-pressure round plate quick-opening filter press is used, we should keep filter cloth wet, because once the filter cloth and the filter press are used together, the filtrate and the strong pressure of the equipment can make the filter cloth undergoes subtle changes, and such filter cloth can no longer withstand the test of drying. Because the filter cloth is too dry, the fiber of the filter cloth will shrink, so that the quality of the filter cloth in intercepting solid particles will be seriously changed, which will seriously affect the filtration efficiency and make the filter cloth more easily damaged. , So the filter cloth protection work must be done after the shutdown.
3. After the high-pressure round plate quick-open filter press equipment stops running, it is necessary to prevent the hydraulic station from entering water, otherwise it will cause the deterioration of the oil, so the hydraulic station should be sealed and protected after the shutdown. The shutdown work should not be careless, which directly affects the service life of the equipment and the next work efficiency. You cannot ignore the follow-up operations. The operations after the shutdown should be given the same attention as the maintenance.
