How Membrane Filter Press Work
The main oil cylinder of the filter press drives the moving plate to close each filter chamber, and the hydraulically driven ceramic piston pump is used to evenly inject the slurry into the filter chamber formed by the adjacent filter plates.
The slurry is pressurized so that most of the filtrate passes through the filter cloth and flows out of the grooves on the filter plate.
The volume of the filter chamber is reduced by mechanical extrusion or diaphragm pressing for secondary dehydration, and high-pressure air is used to uniformly pass through the entire section of the filter cake for steam-water replacement to take away the residual moisture in the filter cake.
Finally, the main hydraulic cylinder starts to work, the connecting rod drives the moving plate, and the filter chamber is opened to put down the filter cake.
