The intercepted filter cake is formed more uniformly, which creates good conditions for the following expansion and extrusion of the diaphragm filter plate.
Solid liquid separation equipment-membrane filter press filter plate adopts two-layer diaphragm plate splicing and welding structure. There is a space between the two layers. There is a channel in this closed space, which can be connected to the high pressure gas or liquid outside the filter press. When the channel is opened, high-pressure gas or liquid flows into the filter plate, making the pressure inside the filter plate greater than the pressure outside the filter plate. In this way, the diaphragm plates on both sides of the filter plate expand under internal pressure and protrude outward. The middle of the membrane filter plate chamber of the membrane filter press is made larger, and the corresponding filter cake is also smaller in the middle, so that filter cake moisture can be further reduced during the squeeze process.
However, when the pressure inside the filter plate is reduced, the filter plate will return to a original shape, so that the next expansion and extrusion can be performed again.
