How to Distinguish Bad Filter Plates and Good Filter Plate
1. To distinguish the bad and the good filter plate of the slurry filter press, you must first check whether the filter plate is in good condition as a whole, and whether the surface is smooth and clean. It should be very flat and clean, because it is an important position which affects the sealing of the filter chambers, and there must be no damage. If the filter chamber of the filter press cannot meet the most basic standards, the filter press cannot work. In the concave part of the filter plate, reduce all silk marks as much as possible. Because the internal working pressure of the filter press is very high, in the future application, the filter plate is usually broken and damaged from the filter plate wire mark due to the strong working pressure.
2. Smell the filter plate. The filter plate of a good cloth filter press itself does not contain any choking or strong taste, but only contains a shallow high-pressure polyethylene smell. If the filter plate of the filter press itself contains rich vapor when it is not in use, it means that the filter plate is either added with too many additives in the whole production process, or it is re-melted and forged with waste material.
3. The key is to touch. When a good filter plate is touched, all the smoke and dust cannot be brought out. The base butadiene will produce a thin layer on the surface of the filter plate, which will look like jade, but much less.
