What is filter cloth?
For the automatic filter press, the filter cloth can be said to be the heart of the filter press, because the filtered slurry must pass through the filter cloth to achieve solid-liquid separation.
The filter cloth of the automatic filter press can be divided into monofilament filter cloth and multifilament filter cloth. Monofilament means that the whole yarn is woven from a single filament. The surface of the monofilamentfilter clothis smooth, it is not easy to be blocked during filtration, and the filter cake is easy to peel off. The filter cloth made of multi-filament multi-filament fibers is the multi-filament filter cloth. The multi-filament filter cloth is more suitable for filtering materials with smaller particles and has better filtering accuracy.
In terms of material, there are also many different types of filter cloths for automatic filter presses, such as polyester filter cloth, nylon filter cloth, polypropylene filter cloth, vinylon filter cloth, etc. Select the appropriate material according to the material to be filtered. For the pulp with strong acid and strong alkali, polypropylene filter cloth can be selected, but if the temperature of the pulp is high, polypropylene filter cloth is not suitable. In terms of high temperature resistance, polyester filter cloth can be used, and polyester filter cloth can also be used for chamber filter press to filter the slurry containing sharp particles, and the wear resistance is better.
