Filter Press Safe Operation1. During the filter press working, the operator shall not put his feet, hands, or head into the filter plate of the filter press or observe the belt conveyor or the middle groove from the gap between the opened filter plate. It is forbidden to put tools on the hook frame and on the handle of the filter plate. 2. Do not press the switch when there are people on the frame, machine top, or beam. 3. The hydraulic part of the filter press machine must be equipped with an electric contact pressure gauge. 4. It is forbidden to wear high heels and work barefoot. It is strictly forbidden to put your head and hands into the filter plate during the unloading process. 5. It is forbidden to operate the buttons with gloves, and only use wooden shovel (bamboo chips) for unloading. 6. Before work, check whether the operating buttons are flexible and reliable, and whether the unloader is synchronized. 7. Before work, pay attention to check whether there is any debris between the filter press plates and whether the filter cloth is wrinkled, and clean up in time after discovery. 8. During the horizontal filter press process, observe the outflow of the filtrate. When it is found to be damaged, write down the number and repair or replace the filter cloth in time. 9. Pay attention to check whether the filter plate is deformed or broken, and replace it in time when it is found. When replacing the filter plate, remove the filtrate tap first. 10. When the edge of the filter plate is damaged, even slightly protrusion, the filter chambers it formed will have gap which will also lead to slurry leak which will be relatively large, what is more, it may even be ejected.

Why Filter Plates Broken1. The filter press is damaged, causing uneven force on the filter plate, and the filter press its pressure crushes the filter plate;2. It is caused by the slurry .The slurry contains hard particles which will cause the membrane filter plate easily damaged.3. The feed hole is blocked. Several filter plates near the feed inlet are damaged, which can be preliminary judged to be blocked at the feed inlet. If the slurry concentration is too large, or the cleaning is not timely, the feed hole will be blocked.4. The feed pressure is too high.When back pressure occurs, or the pressure gauge display exceeds the pressure specified on the nameplate, Indicates that the feed pressure is high. The solution is adjusting the pressure controller system.5. The material concentration is high and the fluidity is too poor, the solution is reducing the material concentration and improve slurry mobility.6. The feed temperature is too high.Understand the temperature of the slurry firstly, when the temperature of the filtered slurry exceeds the filter plate equipped. When using the temperature, you should explain the reason to the customer, and replace the appropriate filter plate or take the temperature of cooling slurry before filtering;7. The filter cloth is damaged and the outlet hole is blocked.There are a few individual water holes and the filtrate is turbid, it can be judged that the filter cloth is damaged and the water holes. If there is no liquid, it can be judged that the liquid hole is blocked. The filter cloth should be replaced and the liquid outlet hole should be cleaned.
